Make Your Voice Heard
in Parliament
(15β31 August 2025)
π THE ISSUE
In the 2024 election, the ANC won 40% of National Assembly seats (159 of 400) β yet it has 71% of ministers and deputy ministers (54β56 of 77).
So the President just ignored every single voter... and a year later... parliament has not asked the president to respect your vote or explain why he's doing it?
π£ Now South Africans across the country are sending this simple, short email to the Speaker of the National Assembly (Parliament).
Otherwise, why should we ever vote again, if we'll just get an ANC majority government, no matter how we vote?
Every email counts β this is not a petition, but a mass constitutional action.
π Why This Matters
Your email isnβt just complaining β it is a Constitutional Public Submission under Section 59(1)(a) raising urgent concerns about accountability (Section 1(d)), government by the people (Section 42(3)), and parliament's oversight duty (Section 55(2)).
It must be recorded, circulated, and considered.
You're standing up for:
β Parliament doing its job properly,
β Leaders being open and honest with the public,
β And every citizen's right to ask the government hard questions and expect real answers.
π If Parliament ignores you, it becomes formal evidence that public concern was raised β and ignored β laying the foundation for possible escalation.
π Deadline
Send before midnight on August 31 to show Parliament that citizens are responding in real-time. This coincides with Members of Parliament coming back to their last term for the year.
We're giving them 60 days to sort this out.
